Born and raised in a musical environment, spinning tunes is a natural progression for Chris Young. Every member of Chris' immediate family plays a musical instrument, including Chris, who grew up playing guitar and dabbling in piano and drums. Dating back to Chris' elementary school days, his teachers proclaimed he was destined to be an entertainer. Later on in his youth, Chris played in several bands, recorded a couple of albums and played some gigs in the Sarnia / Chatham area.
After the birth of their first daughter, Chris and his wife, Sandra relocated to Wasaga Beach to raise their young family. They have spent the last ten years in Wasaga Beach, having three more children there. Putting music on the backburner was no easy task for Chris, but family and work commitments took precedence.
Feeling the need to get back into music and entertaining, Chris took on a part time job as a disc jockey and found that he could make use of his musical and entertaining nature at the same time. The birth of Wasaga Beatz DJ Services enabled Chris to enjoy what he does while pursuing the dream of running his own business.
